Sheikh Abdulrahman Al Rugaib started his business of real estate, after getting expertise from working with several multinational companies.
Later, Sheikh Abdullah Al Rugaib and Sheikh Hamad Al Rugaib, the two younger brothers joined the hands and laid the foundation stone of Al Rugaib Holding Company.

The initiative was taken with real estate business in the major cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah and Al Khobar.

The real estate business was well-groomed with the Kingdom wise demand of construction, so Al Rugaib Contracting Establishment (currently a subsidiary of holding company with name of Al Rugaib Construction Company – RCC) was set up.

With rapidly growing demand of interior decoration, it was decided to step into the furniture and carpet business. Soon Al Rugaib Carpet Co. became a trademark for interior decoration.

Al Rugaib Holding started the hospitality services by opening it’s first hotel Jumeza in the Holy City of Makkah, and the journey keeps on going by opening more international standard hotels; such as Best Western & Lastrada Hotel.

Al Rugaib Holding Company got pride to establish the first ever shopping mall of Saudi Arabi, in the capital city of Riyadh, the Sahara Mall.

By opening the Infix Advertising, pro ad services were started.

Al Rugaib Holding got the commercial permit for construction, electromechanical and electrical projects under the name of Methaq Constructing Company.

Food & Beverage services were started with the unique concept of Café Ceramic.
The extension of these services lead the company to introduce bakery items as well, with the brand name of Mille Feuille.
Then Spears Middle East was started for comprehensive supply and support solutions to the food service industry.

The foundation for IT solutions was initially laid , which later developed as Spectrum Technology and now providing IT and telecom services.

Fun and Entertainment services were started with the grand opening of GCC based entertainment concept, Goal

Few Years Later

In a few years of hard work and dedicated efforts, the partners have, with God’s help, been able to make a significant increase in the capital and to develop highly qualified managerial, technical and executive team, have good connections, build good reputation and maintain high credibility at local, regional and international levels. The partners have realized that these are some of the major elements that would enable them to accomplish more progress and encourage them to expand and grow further. Thus, they have started to seek new and diversified business opportunities, especially when the young educated qualified family members of the new generation joined the business. They have then established one corporate after the other until they have had several affiliated firms that conduct their business in various fields. Hence, the elder partners with the indispensable help of the new generation members, have formed Al Rugaib Holding Co. (RHC) and delegated to them the full power to manage and control the business interests including the subsidiaries activities. The new management has started to reorganize and restructure the family business and utilize latest business management techniques to ensure effective supervision and control and efficient performance and productivity.
